The University of North Carolina Press was represented among winners of the Organization of American Historians Awards.  Stephen Kantrowitz's Ben Tillman and the Reconstruction of White Supremacy won the 2001 Ellis W. Hawley Prize.  Pete Daniel's Lost Revolutions: The South in the 1950's won the 2001 Elliott Rudwick Prize.
