Southwest/Texas Popular Culture/American Culture Association,
- 25th Annual
Conference, held in conjunction with the National Popular
Culture/American Culture Association Conference in San Antonio, Texas
San Antonio Marriot Rivercenter Hotel, on the Riverwalk.

The Texas Culture Area solicits paper and presentation proposals from
professors, graduate students, scholars, citizens, cowboys, and other
aficionados of all things Texan. Also welcome are proposals for discussions
and panels organized around common Texas-centric themes or motifs.

* African-American Culture in Texas
* Juneteenth
* And, of course, other Texas-centric topics are welcome.
Application Process:
Please send an abstract of 200 words to Wallis Sanborn at the email

include
your email address, address of locale, your university or group affiliation
(if applicable), and a title for your presentation.
