Southwest/Texas Popular & American Culture Associations 25th Annual Conference
(meeting jointly with the PCA/ACA) in San Antonio, TX

April 7-10, 2004

Papers that address any aspect of biography, autobiography,
memoir, and personal narrative and its various genres and approaches are
welcome.

Paper topics may include but are not limited to the following:
· Autobiography
· Memoir
· Literary Biography
· Biography in Film
· Political Biography/Autobiography
· Scholarly Biography
· Fact vs. Fiction in Biography/Autobiography
· Historical Biography/Autobiography
· Biography and Entertainment
· Controversial Biographies/Autobiographies

Please mail or email a 200-word abstract/proposal, a working
bibliography for your paper, a brief biography of yourself, and your
