Call for Proposals for the Southern Literature Open Session
At the 2004 Meeting of the South Central Modern Language Association
NEW ORLEANS, October 28-30, 2004

Deadline: March 15, 2004 

We seek papers pertaining to all aspects of Southern literature. Special consideration will be given to submissions that deal with the 2004 SCMLA theme of "Cultural Confluences." How does the literature of the American South reflect its rich cultural history? 

Please include a short biographical statement along with your proposal.
