It's been said that the way to a man's heart
is through his stomach. These Atlanta bachelors are trying the same theory
in reverse. Bonnie Irvine has selected fifty Atlanta men to feature in her
cookbook. The recipes are from the men, their families, with some additions
from Irvine's own kitchen.
Each man is introduced with the vital statistics, a short biography and their favorite quote. The recipes give insight into their cultural background, tastes, and level of skill in the kitchen. They all seem to be spicy! It is a cookbook that will leave you smiling. It's a great item for a girls night in the kitchen, to try the men - so to speak. Recipes worth a try: Scott's Hot Spinach Dip (page 204); the book cover model Michael's Southern Shrimp Bog (page 12); Sherman's Hot Buttered Rum (page 34); and Grand's Thai Chicken (page 149). Any of the bachelors in the cookbook may be contacted at www.goodcooking-atlanta.com.
